25 November 2001 : Lorraine Downie
andnbsp;
After a little indecision as to whether we should
walk or not due to the mist and the rain thirteen hikers, namely Keith,
Margaret, Warwick, Brenda, Peter, Deneys, Deena, Mary, Teresa, Graham, Des,
Lorraine and our intrepid leader Campbell set off from the Garlick Forestry
Offices after parking the cars and making sure that the guard was there. It turned out to be a lovely day for
walking as the mist lifted and the rain stopped and we were rewarded with
magnificent views over Albert Falls Dam and the surrounding country when we
reached the Bluff. It was a relatively
short walk - 15 km round trip.
